About our first week in Breda

The first week, we slept in a youth hostel. We slept in bunk beds, the floor was very dirty, showers and toilets were in common. It was not a luxury hotel but we were happy to be together.

The main objectif of the week, was to find an accommodation for me and Fabien. We visited a lot of rooms. It was very hard to find one room for only 3 months but I finally found one, unfortunately Fabien doesn’t have a room yet.

During this week we made a tour of Breda, the center is not very big but there is a lot of shopping markets, restaurants and pub, we very enjoy Breda.

On Thursday the 29th, we had a welcome day at Avans university. During this day we met all the others erasmus students. We all went to the skating ring during the afternoon. I have never done ice-skating before but it was a very nice moment. After that, we had a dinner and a party in a pub. We also played Bowling with the other erasmus students.

During this week, there was a lot of parties to welcome the news international students. The best party was in a student campus called easystreet. All the different parties was for me the opportunity to speak english and to exchange with students with a different culture.
